"and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.'"       Hebrews 10:24-25

worshipNote to our visitors: Following each service, coffee and refreshments are served in the foyer. Although our members contribute snacks and/or a free will offering, as a visitor, you are our guest.

Traditional worship is at 8:30 am every Sunday morning. The service typically involves liturgy, traditional hymns, and a message; as well of lots of hugs and friendship.

Contemporary Worship is at 10:10 am every Sunday morning. The service is often led by the Sonshine Praise Team, under the leadership of Gail Hammond. The service is family-friendly, and children take an active role in the service.

Several times throughout the year, special mission themes and music are highlighted. Communion is served at both services on the first and third Sundays of every month. If you are interested in providing special music or participating in the service in other ways, please contact the Pastor.

"I was glad when they said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord!'"       Psalm 122:1

"Do this in remembrance of me"       Luke 22:19

Holy Communion is one of the sacraments of The United Methodist Church. This sacrament is often called the Lord's Supper. Eucharist, from the Greek word for thanksgiving, is yet another traditional name for the sacrament. Holy Communion recalls the Last Supper of Jesus with the disciples. It is a celebration and remembrance of God's grace and mercy in Jesus, of the resurrection of Christ, and of Christ's continuing presence with us.

"All who intend to lead a Christian life, together with their children, are invited to receive the bread and cup." (The United Methodist Book of Worship)

"And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name.'"       Acts 22:16

What is Baptism

Holy Baptism is the sacramental act whereby a person is cleansed by the Holy Spirit and becomes part of the body of Christ - the church universal. Baptism is administered by the church as the Body of Christ. It is the act of God through the grace of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.
